The final result returned by a span.

There are four cases:

• Success: the value contains the last value computed within the span.

• Failure: the value contains the exception thrown within the span.

• Cancellation: the value contains the cancellation exception thrown within the span.

• Early-return: the value contains the special singleton EarlyReturn. Note that this is indistinguishable from a successful computation returning EarlyReturn, but there is no usefulness for such a computation.
